Hiking tours allow you to enjoy the desert and its stunning landscapes in silence and at your own pace. You will feel like a real Bedouin wandering from place to place. We offer tours ranging from a single day to five days in duration. A full day is needed to see the itinerary that you will embark on each day. However, if you hike at an aggressive pace you can complete your tour quicker than usual, if you so choose.
1 Day:
The tour starts from Wadi Rum Village with a Bedouin hiking guide to the Nabataen Temple. After the Temple you will visit Lawrence Spring and afterwards go to theKhazali Canyon where you can walk inside to see the inscriptions. Here you will have lunch with Bedouin tea and you can relax for one hour. After lunch you will continue hiking to the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp where you will stay overnight. From the camp you can watch the beautiful sunset.
2 Day Plus Previous Day:
After breakfast you will start hiking with your guide to Um Frouth Rock Bridgewhich you can climb as you wish. Feel free to relax as your guide prepares the meal. After lunch you will go to the Little Bridge, before returning to the camp for another beautiful sunset.
3 Day Plus Previous Days:
After breakfast you will start hiking with the guide to the White Desert and at around mid-day you will stop for lunch. Here you will have an hour to relax. After lunch you and your guide will continue your hike in the White Desert and then head back to the camp
4 Day Plus Previous Days:
After the breakfast you will leave the camp and head to Lawrence House. Then you will go to see the Ancient Inscriptions and the Red Sand Dunes. You will have lunch at mid-day and head to the Map before going back to the camp.
5 Day Plus Previous Days:
After breakfast you and your guide will start hiking to the Al-Qatar Spring where you will have lunch and rest for one hour. Then you will go to Um Sabatah and return to the camp.
The next morning after breakfast we will drive you back to Rum Village, or you may hike if you prefer.
Another option is to ride a camel back to town for
35 JD for each camel.

- Bedouin guide for hiking who speaks english
- All the meals (dinner, breakfast, boxed lunch, tea, water)
- Visiting a real Bedouin family
- Drive back to Wadi Rum village by jeep

Sleeping Under The Stars
At Wadi Rum Candles Camp we offer a unique option to your experience in Wadi Rum. Instead of going to the camp at the end of the tour, we will drive you to a private location in the desert where we will make Bedouin tea, a private Bedouin dinner(you can help if your would like), candles, and a fire to have your own private sleeping under the stars experience. We will provide all necessary bedding and blankets, you just lay back, relax and take in all the beautiful stars. You also have the option of joining us for dinner and Bedouin music in the camp, then going out to sleep under the stars afterwards. The cost for this is just an additional 20JD per person/per night.
